System Details

BS9251:2014 Cat 2, full coverage including residential amenity areas, system fed via a priority demand valve from the BCWS.

Client Issues

As this is a very high-end project the clients architect had designed the apartments with coffer detailed ceilings and special lighting (chandeliers) which poses an issue for sprinklers. The client was also required to add protection to the resident’s sauna.

RAD Solution

After receiving the DWG files for the apartments our design manager spent a lot of time on site with the architect re designing the RCPs so the ceiling detail could accommodate the sprinklers. We also installed high temperature sprinklers within the sauna so this was also protected.
