Can Residential Sprinkler Systems be Used in Car Parks?

No. Systems designed for homes (BS 9251 and BS8458) are not suitable for car parks, which require a higher volume of water discharge. Car park sprinkler systems should be installed according to BS EN 12845: 2009. RAD Fire Sprinklers have a separate department which specialises in commercial sprinkler systems.
